Landmines

I have a few questions.

1) Can you get killed by a landmine?  I heard that Nukem leaves you with 1 hitpoint at least.  Does that apply to landmines?

2) Does the Hydrite Sweep remove landmines?

3) Can a landmine kill a Level1-5 player in one hit?

Landmines are cool.

Yes you can.  Nukem only leaves you with 1 hit point in special circumstances.  For high level players Nukem can be leathal.

8O  I've been hit crossing over a landmine in the desert section of defiles map. about 8 or 9 paces to  the left of a row of thumpers where nukem is at this point. My HP's went down to 3 running across the landmine.
