Title: Missle blast radius question Post by: dgbehrends on June 26, 2007, 06:17:09 am When a missile sucessuflly explodes, does its blast radius look like this with the resulting terrain being updated,
_WWW_ W%%%W W%U%W W%%%W _WWW_ or WWWWW W%%%W W%U%W W%%%W WWWWW What my question is really about are the corners of the blast radius, in other words if a base was in the corner would it have it shields/defense breached? One thing I am pretty sure is that if any of the blast radius would touch a missile silo, AFB, hydrite prison, or the complex, then it simply tells you it was a dud even if it normally would have been a successful explosion. I'll see if I can test this out in the Journeyman game before it gets reset. Title: bvlast radius Post by: Mercury on June 26, 2007, 01:06:27 pm does not include the corners
Title: Missle blast radius question Post by: dgbehrends on June 26, 2007, 02:08:10 pm well my luck is horrible in launching missiles (1 of 5) and so I didn't get to fire a new one, but I went back and looked at the blast radius of a previous one and sure enough there was still rock at the corners of where the missile landed. This confirms your answer.
