Title: SyncTERM now does Operation: Overkill terminal emulation
Post by: Deuce on September 23, 2008, 01:13:03 pm
SyncTERM, available at http://www.syncterm.net/ (http://www.syncterm.net/) now supports Operation: Overkill terminal emulation!

It automatically enters and exists OO][ mode when the door is detected.

Woah... now *this* is news!

I installed SyncTERM on my OSX, but being a MAC noob, how do I use it?  I invoke the application but nothing seems to happen.  I'm about to test out SyncTERM on my other PC/Win32.

There are apparently problems with the OS X build on PPC systems running > 10.2.  I'm not able to fix them since I don't have access to such a system.

If someone wants to give me VNC access to their system for a couple hours, I should be able to fix the problem.  If someone wants to just give me SSH access, I may or may not be able to fix the problem.

Although the CSV log files have newer updates than Sep. 24, I'm downloading from the OSX link:

http://www.syncterm.net/SyncTERM.dmg

Is this the correct link?  I want the latest and greatest. :)

PS: The term works great on my PC!  Now, Michael needs to update the latest Overkill version to allow it to function like the previous versions.  The autodetection in Overkill 1.23 isn't working with the term.
