I'm beginning to think that all the people (the FAQ authors, people on these fora) who talk up the Xendrix as being the best h2h weapon are playing a big joke. I've never done more than 4 points of damage with the thing. Is there some trick to using it, though I can't imagine what?

Work on your strength and  dex stats and then see if you hit for more than 4 with an Xendy

Nice thing about the hydra-jack is that it doesn't need ammo.  Sometimes that's more useful than the extra "firepower" of the Xendrix.

Yeah, I really like the Xendrix. It fetches a lot of money to sell. Once I get a Hydra Jack it's all done. ALso, it seems once I get the Jack, they just keep piling up, and the extra's are nice to sell too.
