Greetings and salutaions,
My fellow wanderers of the irradiated soil. Too long have we not fought back agaisnt hte scaled hordes.. Too long have we let them take our... *reads over some notes* Ohhh this is for introductions for me...  I guess the amibiant radiation has had an effect on me. =)

It is good to see that OOII is still played and is available to play. My name is Matthew. I am a beginning porgrammer still in school  trying to earn a piece of paper that shows to what level of incompitance I have risen. I got started on OOII way back when I was  in my early teens. Ahh the chugging of a 2400 baud modem the sounds of my paretns 386 computer negotiating a connection with the local BBS that had OOII on it.It is full of good memories.  I alsow played Tradwars pn three of the local BBS's Ahh that was another good game, but I digress. I remember the fun I had when I logged back in after being away form the game for a bit and finding a nice windfall in my bank account. The version I played was an unregistered version so it did not have all the awesoem ness that I am sure the full version had.

May I ask one question? What happend to the fellow who originally authroed OOII? I though he had a BBS about somewhere.

Anyway. Good to finnally join the boards and  join in soem OOII Action... I just hope Aurora does not stalk me as I navagate level one.

Dustin has been employed in the game industry since college.  You can stalk him quite easily on Moby Games. Wink

He stops by occasionally, but in general spends his free time doing things non game related.

I attempt to maintain the game, but apparently the current version that I put up in March was quite buggy.  Unfortunately for me I was busy moving to Japan and just noticed!

Personally I don't trust a damn thing that happened in that game.  With the bug that existed the following scenario is quite possible.

Another player stole a bunch of money and items from you and then immediately lost them when they camped!

So unfortunatly we'll have to see if anything strange happens in this newest build.  You just can't trust a game that doesn't properly save data!
