game crashes when picking up a medkit

In the journeyman game there are 4 medpacks sitting a couple of clicks NW of the complex.  When I tried to pick them up it booted me from the game.  I tried doing it with a full pack and a pack with 1 slot open and got the same result everytime, a swift kick to the behind and I'm back at the login screen.

Simply dropping a large amount of crystals also gets you the boot.

I don't remember exactly, probably over a billion.  I should check how low I can go before not getting booted.

you can never give, pick up, or drop more than 99,999,999 crystals.  i have tried countless times and it is not possible.  If you are going to give someone a billion crystals, it takes 10 "give crystals" episodes.  Actually, technically, 11.  This one goes to 11.

Yes this is true I ran into what I call the 8 digit problem.  You can only give someone 8 digits worth of crystals.  If you try to give 9 digits it simply won't let you.  However, not letting you and booting you from the game are two different things.  In my case I was simply dropping crystals on the ground.  I got booted for doing this and I can't recall how many it was.  It is conceivable that I dropped more than 99999999 worth of crystals.

The medpack issue and the crystals issue are both fixed in 0368.
