The current version has some serious issues with picking up items in the wasteland and lock ups.  When picking up items you tend to get booted frequently.

There is no previous version to revert to.  We are currently alpha testing the first ever Windows version.

The best idea is to submit bugs to the bug database.  I don't think there has been a new bug submitted in over a year.

Thanks for responding and I understand that you have a very limited amount of time to work on this.

I posted this bug back in sept 07
http://www.operationoverkill.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=199
Is this the correct forum that you are referring to?

I played OOII on your server back in June 07 and the bug I reference did not exist.  I do believe this was a different release as it had a bug where when in a base if you picked up the last item then it would boot you from the game.  I also believe you worked to fix this and released the current version.  I'm pretty sure I verified that the base bug was fixed in this version.  However now picking up items in the wasteland gets you booted, and this is a very frequent occurrence.   The next time I have a minute or two I will log in and create the boot and document in the bug forum exactly what happened.

Maybe I missed a spot when I was fixing the bug then.  I actually didn't realize it was still a problem.

The BBS is going to be down for about a month or so while I work out the hosting.  We can revisit this issue when I get it back up.

Back up.  Let the bug testing resume. Smiley
